Avocado Pandan cake made with freshly squeezed Pandan juice, frosted with mashed avocado cream and chunks of fresh avocados, accented with smooth Valrhona chocolate ganache. Low sugar, low fat and full of everything that is absolutely wonderful in one creamy fragrant package.

We know that Avocado is a Superfood, meaning that it is dense with nutrients and antioxidants. And we all know that Pandan is the Vanilla of the East. But do you also know that Pandan is an excellent source of vitamins and antioxidants known to help boost the immune system, pain relief and prevent conditions like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes?

Chiffon cake is baked in chiffon cake mould for a higher cake, therefore there will be a hole in the centre of the cake. The hole will be covered with extra avocado cream. 

Please allow 3 day’s advance notice for this cake as we will purchase avocados only when we have received your order, as avocados cannot be purchased and stored in advance.

This is a handmade product, garnishes may differ and may be substituted according to availability.

Storage/handling

Cake must be stored in an airtight container in the chiller away from direct sunlight. This cake is made with fresh avocado fruit and fresh cream therefore the colour may oxidize over time, but this is no way affects the flavour and texture of the cake. We recommend consuming the cake on the day of purchase, as cake will dry out in the chiller. 

Important Note: Fresh cream is extremely sensitive to heat! Please handle with care when transporting the cake and keep cake box upright in a cool air conditioned car away from direct sunlight. If travelling with cake for more than 1 hour, we recommend storing the cake box in a cooler bag and cooler packs (both sold separately) or cooler box with ice bag/cooler packs.

Packaging

Cake is packed in a standard white cardboard cake box. Please note that the cake box may soften when placed in a chiller due to the moisture level within.
