This amped up Strawberry & Cream shortcake is a firm favourite with many customers including my kids and family. The generous chunks of fresh juicy strawberries and more strawberry compote layered over soft and fluffy freshly whipped cream cheese makes this cake a real delight! It's perfect for any celebration...like eating strawberry and cream on a summer's day!

Please allow 1 day’s  advance notice for this cake as we have to ensure we have stock of fresh strawberries.

This is a handmade product, garnishes may differ and may be substituted according to availability.

Storage/handling

Cake must be stored in an airtight container in a chiller away from direct sunlight. Although it can keep for 1 to 2 days, because it is made with fresh strawberries and cream cheese, we recommend that it is consumed on the day it is purchased. We use fresh berries, which may deteriorate faster during this hot and humid weather.

Important Note: Please handle with care when transporting the cake and keep cake box upright in a cool air conditioned car away from direct sunlight. If travelling with cake for more than 1 hour, we recommend storing the cake box in a cooler bag and cooler packs (both sold separately) or cooler box with ice bag/cooler packs.

Packaging

Cake is packed in a standard white cardboard cake box. Please note that the cake box may soften when placed in a chiller due to the moisture level within.
